PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) for Ages 2-7

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, also known as PCIT, is a leading treatment for parents and their kids ages 2-7 with ongoing behavioral challenges. These symptoms are often present with diagnoses such as ADHD, ODD, and anxiety, but no formal diagnosis is necessary for PCIT to be effective. Parents who have tried other methods unsuccessfully, find PCIT to be extremely helpful and effective.

Meghan Seradsky, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist and PCIT specialist.

PCIT is for you if you and your child are experiencing:

  • Frequent and intense meltdowns
  • Physical aggression
  • Demand avoidance
  • Parental burnout

PCIT is a family-based approach where a skilled therapist coaches parents during live sessions with their children. Parents feel immediately supported as they are guided through dealing with challenging behaviors and frustrating moments.
